The Seven Husbands Of Evelyn Hugo - Book Review

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo

The Seven Husbands Of Evelyn Hugo  ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Author - Taylor Jenkins Reid
Publisher - Simon & Schuster

This is my second book from Taylor Jenkins Reid after “Daisy Jones & The Six”. I was drawn towards her writing and just like her other book it took me a while to believe that the characters are not real. She puts so much so effort in characterization that it is hard to believe that it is all fictitious.

Evelyn Hugo, a Hollywood star of 1950s chose Monique Grant to write her biography. Unbeknownst to Monique as why she is the chosen one, Evelyn Hugo reveals the tale of ruthless ambition, unexpected friendship, her seven marriages and a great forbidden love to Monique.

Monique begins to feel a very real connection to the legendary star, but as Evelyn's story near its conclusion, it becomes clear that her life intersects with Monique's own in tragic and irreversible ways.

Absolutely remarkable, a must read from Ms. Reid!
