Howard Stern Comes Again - Book Review

Howard Stern Comes Again

Howard Stern Comes Again  ⭐⭐⭐
Author - Howard Stern
Publisher  - Simon & Schuster

I had never been so excited about an autobiography before as I was for this since Howard announced its launch in May. I have been listening to Howard Stern on and off for the last couple of years and he is, undoubtedly, one of the best entertainers radio has ever produced. The man who knows how to engage his listeners by boldly discussing sex, love, money, fame, break-ups, and success with the celebrities guests on his show. The portfolios of his guests include rock stars, rappers, comedy legends, A-list actors, supermodels, flamboyants, moguls, mobsters and a PRESIDENT.

Howard jotted down his favourite interviews in this book that he conducted in his 4-decade long career in radio. Since I have been listening to him until quite recently, this book has been very entertaining and informative for me where I got the gist of not only his career's and personal evolution but also the evolution of mainstream culture. His candid interview style has always made the celebrity guests comfortably spill their secrets.

Although the book delivers just the transcripts of his own favourite interviews yet it is very interesting to read how and why are these interviews his favourite. The preface before each interview beautifully delivers the above message. He hasn't missed an opportunity in this book to appreciate people who have contributed even a little fraction in his better being.

Some of my favourite interview sections in the book are: 1. Hillary Clinton - The interview that never happened 2. Ray Stern (his mom) 3. Excerpts of Donald Trump interviews 4. David Letterman 5. Jimmy Fallon 6. Lady Gaga

The only thing I found missing in this book are mentions about his other staff. I expected a little excerpt of his other staff as they also played a part in Howard Stern's evolution in some way
