One Week 'Til Christmas - Book Review - Incredible Opinions

One Week 'Til Christmas  ⭐⭐⭐
Author - Belinda Missen
Publisher - Harper Collins

Thank you Netgalley and publishers for this digital ARC. I saved this copy and wanted to read it exactly one week before Christmas so here I am - just finished reading it in one sitting.

This is my first book from Belinda Missed and definitely not the last. One Week Til’ Christmas is a cozy, light-hearted romantic book with a lots of christmassy feelings.

It is narrated from the first person perspective of Isobel who is a travel writer from Melbourne, Australia and is on vacation to London for a week to stay with her friend and enjoy the festivities. She gets knocked over by a guy on a street on her first day. Her boss asks her to interview a famous television personality while she is in London who turns out to be the same person who knocked her over on the street, Tom Bracken. Their work meeting turns into many romantic meetings but will she leave London and Tom after the vacation time is over?

What I love the most about this book is the brilliant festival setting which makes it a perfect Christmas read. The beautiful and detailed sights described during their meetings add realistic angle to romance. The hardships one faces while balancing work and life and coming out as a winner is described brilliantly. The characters are developed beautifully and the climax is neither what I expected nor cliché at all.

If you are looking for a quick and light Christmas book, pick this one!
