An open book called My Life

I have been an open book all my life. Well, this figure of speech means that I never like to hide anything from a person who would like to trust me. I don't have any hidden secrets in my life and in short, I am not at all complicated to figure out!

Life is short and I am amazed at the fact that if I die a natural death, I may have already lived 40% of my life. If I could change something in my life I have lived so far, it would be "nothing". As I always call myself, a "blessed" person, who has been very fortunate so far. Life has been good to me and I have been one of those 25% lucky people of the world who has access to food, clothes and a roof over my head.

What I am today is because of what I had been through in my past. I don't have any regrets in my life. Nothing is perfect in life. Any imperfection can be taken as a learning lesson in life and can be moved on to the next chapter of life.
Things can change. Life is all a learning process.- Mike Tyson
If I ever had a bad phase or had a struggle in my life, I would neither blame that phase nor would like to tear it off my life book. I still take those days of my weaknesses as a litmus test of my toughest being. I have survived so far and based on my past experiences which I've gained from any bad day or phase, I'd continue to learn from it.

I am very grateful to everyone who has been a part of my journey of life including my family and friends. I am also grateful to them who dislike me. It is just because of them that I get inspiration to grow more in life and be a better person.

Grass is always greener on the other side. However, it is also equally important to recognize and be grateful for where we currently are on our journey of life, and to not allow the things that we can't change define us.

  1. I like the illustration. In fact, that's the basic premise of my post on the same topic.

  2. That's really true we should not have complaints all the time but thanks what we have and enjoy that atleast we are alive!
