“You want to remember that while you're judging the book, the book is also judging you.” ― Stephen King, Night Shift

Review

As I continue my Stephen King binge, Night Shift comes next chronologically. I could never imagine Stephen King writing any book shorter than 400 pages but he excels in whatever he writes.

Night Shift is a collection of 20 short stories by Stephen King. Those stories laid foundations for his most notable works later. One can get the gist of Stephen King’s horror by reading those short stories without delving into epics he has written.

Night Shift - Book Review - Incredible Opinions
Night Shift has all kinds of eerie, violent and remorseful stories packed together. The best thing about the short stories collection is that if you don’t like a particular story, move on to the next. That’s what exactly I did.

‘Jerusalem’s Lot’, ‘Grey Matter’ and ‘Night Surf’ are my favourites but I found ‘Trucks’ really boring and ended up skimming it.

If you are a fan of Stephen King and would like to read short stories, grab this one because even though these are horror stories but they are fun!!!
